Reflections

DNA,
cellular creation,
contemplation,
elation,
determination,
=
dream obliteration,
what is the point of belonging to a family,
especially, if no one supports your dreams deferred,
especially, if each time dreams matured,
you were told,
"you've failed too often in the past,"
dreams met with laughs,
dreams killed on behalf of those who "love" you,
so-called, more than those who barely know the dreams,
born to die,
aborted to the point where dreaming is what "used" to occur,
hear the whisper?

"You'll never be able to accomplish,
to publish,"
in actuality,
what they love is watching you quit,
before you begin,
the loss is more important than the win,
to them,
you'll never out live their legacy, no matter how small,
fall you must, along with your illusions of grandeur,
unless you make yourself pure via separation...
