Rickety, worn
Old, off balance
Dusty, deep
Practically trembling, fearing having yet another placed
on its shoulders…

Unbearable weight
Shake, rattle, hold all as is offered,
coffers now open…

Perfection personified!
Perfect figure, smile, conversation, attitude
Allude to love?
Might as well commit suicide, it no longer exist,
selfish, demanding, not understanding,
landing on the floor, when toppled…

Cracked, broken, not a word spoken
Now used a kindling wood, replaced by another
Smothered with lofty expectations not met,
exhausted from the tit for tat,
there will be no more of that there, too shattered to be repaired

A woman is a difficult thing to hold…
