Jealous Extremes

Realization (XL)

Standing above, peering below,
she gleefully watches his descent into non-existence,
a flask she filled with poison just moments
before lay on the floor, spilled,
slowly seeping, similar to life from his body,
infidelity chickens coming home to roost,
no definite proof needed, indeed it was evident
she’s paid close attention to the obvious clues…

…noticeably breathing in agony he summoned strength, “why?”
Not a tear in her eye, responding, “because you deserve to die!”

This piece will be in the book, "Capturing Sunrays in a Glass Jar",
which is why it appears incomplete in this post...

Dangerous position...Dangerous indeed. What we often feel is our "proof" is the undoing of us. I got burned by it just this week and had to apologize and play nice for a few days.

MORE PLEASE! :-)
