Completes Me?
Her love reminds of a genie bottle,
all encapsulating,
the offering of padded walls does not a safe place make,
the rent is to continually give without ever anticipating being in on the take,
a small price to pay for no return on investment,
all invigorating,
being externally unrestrained for brief moments
or until completion of “to do list” arises,
which is followed by final glimpses or blue skies
just right before the lid is placed back atop the only exit,
marked entrance,
her repentance is non-existent,
similar to apologies rendered by abusive spouses,
just after the beginning,
to the point where winning is equated with empty feelings or
her allowing freedom until its time to yet again keep serving…

interesting...perplexing...really makes me think.
i like this, it seems like a haunting, unrequited love.
