Super Nova

An explosion typically destroys all without,
“he stood over her trembling body, horrified, unstable,
she uncontrollably wept, overly concerned about the next step,”

An implosion destroys all within,
“he left the room, locked the door, fell to the floor,
wishing to be alone no more, swallowed all 150 pills,”

An explosion typically destroys all without,
“filled with blind rage, he freed her from their caged relationship,
with the flick of a wrist, her blue blood slowly dripped,
seeped, slipped through the fingerprints of his stained hands,
like fine white sand, blowing on foreign beaches,
leaving her still like blue seas in the Summer,
still like premature birth,
still like desecrated earth prior to being violated,
still due to his hatred.”

An implosion destroys all within,
“haste made waste,
the sound of roaring police sirens filled the air like sprayed mace,
entering ajar entrance,
seeing letter of atonement, repentance,
pool of vomit, plasma,
the remains of dogma personified,
what happens when so-called love goes awry.”

An explosion typically destroys all without,
An implosion destroys all within,
when men bow to uncontrollable emotion,
love often loses…
