One burns out and can burn you.And the other, when left on a slow slimmer, can become better and more savory with time. Mmmmmmmmmmmm

simply put...

one, you do to someone.
the other, someone does to you.

or even simpler...

one, you have no say in.
the other, you have a say in.

This question depends on your viewpoint. Love is an obsession if there is no self love. If you don't love yourself first then every person you fall in love with is your 1st priority. They become the center of your life and therefore you are obsessed. If you are a whole person first falling in love becomes an experience. You are able to learn the lessons and enjoy the ride without worrying about the destination.

Roll through and check me out when you get a chance. I'd like to hear your take on my 11/30/07 post.

being in love is an overwhelming desire for someone that is pure and honest, and keeps you smiling for no reason at all.

An obsession is something that is rooted in evil. The desire is there but it comes from other parts of the body that do not include your heart. Sometimes its simply your sexual organs. Or I should say initially its your sexual organs but obsessions have tendencies to turn violent.

Maybe it's my own past coloring my view, but obsession makes me nervous and a bit scared. Obsession conjures up thoughts like the movie Fatal Attraction where it's about owning the other person and then consuming them rather than enjoying who they are and being with them.
