Child-like Explorations

Part II of III
(Initially Posted 03.26.06)

Her body lay motionless like she was floating
atop the ocean, he felt himself closed in, without hope,
looking for a good ending which would not tarnish
his good name. Who could he blame?
How much shame could the world knowing he
raped his daughter bring? Feeling proud she was
still a virgin, since he hadn't entered her tiny vagina.

Convinced no witnesses would jeopardize his wealth,
his health, so he dealt her the best gift a parent could
give; escape from pain. Taking her life meant she would
no longer be the same, not having to wrestle with being
driven insane from the memory, destroy her existence.
Her persistence in asking, "Why Daddy?" helped
him make up his mind, after taking his only
daughter's life it was difficult for him to stand
without his spine.

The lack of emotion suggested he cared less,
not to mention the horrific act which followed his
forced sex, the lure, the capture, the rape,
the murder of a minor. Didn't matter she begged
him to stop, his drops of sweat, semen left on the
floor, were the only trail leading back to him.
Until others were made aware only the two of
them knew what transpired.

Chocking her to death, his first consideration,
but impatience with the questioning made it clear
the solution had to be swift, plus, even though he
could bare to please himself at her expense,
he couldn't dare look into her beautiful eyes
while squeezing away her last breaths.
After having sex, his initial doubts were brief,
though complex, no longer erect for the third time
he knew his moments were fleeting, thus,
he began plotting his get away.

I peeped over to see if you'd posted an update to what transpired yesterday, only to be greeted with part II of your poem. As I said yesterday, it's a gut-wrenching, but sad poem. Even more than that, it bears truth to some of the heinous acts that are inflicted upon children.

Again, you broke my heart with this, but it was a must read nonetheless. Ironicly, I posted a somewhat dark poem today.

I've gotten around to reading the first two parts and I felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest, so dark yet wonderfully written, The Bluest Eye keeps popping in my head and I cried and cried after reading about Recola's rape by her father

I teared up reading this.

Wonderful Slump but depressing and horrifying
